Description

Our Signature Summer Salad

Ingredients
  • 200 ml Natural Yogurt
  • 1 Juice of 1 lemon
  • 5 Apples – Cored and chopped
  • 150 g Grapes - halved
  • 150 g Celery - sliced
  • 150 g Walnuts - chopped
  • 2 Large gem lettuce (sliced in middle to separate white from green)
  • 1 Jar of Elsinore Sweet & Spicy Herrings (half roughly chopped and the other half set aside)
Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine apples, grapes, celery, walnuts and lettuce (all chopped)

  2. Add the chopped herrings to the mixing bowl, plus a small carton of natural yogurt, the juice of a lemon and salt and pepper.

  3. Dress the outside and bottom of your salad bowl with green tops of the lettuce

  4. Pour in the mixture

  5. Dress the salad with the rest of the S&S Herrings.

  6. Enjoy
