Our Scandi herring are produced in Nyborg, Denmark to a traditional recipe. First they are cured and matured in brine to draw out excess water giving a firm texture, and then packed in a sweet vinegar marinade. The resulting ready-to-eat delicacy is flavoursome and packed with protein and Omega-3; ideal for a Scandi-Smörgåsbord or picnic-buffet!
Ready to eat: Delicious served on rye bread, or with a chopped potato salad with boiled-egg, apple and red-onion
Storage: Keep refrigerated. Once opened consume within 5 days and by date shown.
